Northey Park.

The boys and me have fished this venue twice so far this year and have had a great day both times. We have tried the main day ticket lake, "RIO" with reasonable results. There are eight lakes to choose from all containing carp, bream, catfish, roach etc. Elliots lake is a syndicate lake for catfish enthusiasts but there is also a day ticket lake for cat anglers although the price of a day ticket is higher at around 11 quid a day. The prices for the other lakes is the standard fiver 8am till dusk however accompanied juniors only 3 pounds. Under 16's without an adult are not allowed as are barbed hooks, however boilies and groundbait are which makes a pleasant change.

The bream and carp we had were of a god size and we are assured there are some really big fish in these lakes including barbel to nearly 10lb. We will check out this venue more as the year goes on and we have high hopes for some 20 pounders and our first catfish. If you have any info, tips or tales from northey then let us know and we will put them on this page.
